Had a great opportunity to talk with Curtis Martin about the work he's done at a site on the Uncompahgre Plateau where a small band of Utes stopped and worked around 1870.

What's really intriguing is how he and his team were able to date the site, even without tree-ring data. He's hoping he'll get the opportunity to do further work at the site. I hope he's able to do so.
